Launching The Maasai SS24 Collection
Our inspiration this Spring is from travels in the Maasai Mara in Eastern Africa.
The vibrant colors - bold red, the exquisite, humble, entrepreneurial people embody a richness and a life well lived. The women in a village outside of our campsite in the Masai Mara I met blew me away with their groundedness in keeping traditions alive through song and dance – all while making sure that their kids are educated (they built a school nearby so that the young children of the village had access to education) and created a trade of making and selling jewelry to visitors. That’s what we call inspiring!
Bold Red and the Softness of Lavender fill the collection -- lots of color and richness. Part of the LA LOOP DNA is to lift up women’s voices through our LA LOOP community and in this season our collaboration with Sabine brings more color and vibrancy. LOOPin our social impact works invites the LA LOOP community to nominate a non-profit that is doing good work for an opportunity to win a LA LOOP grant. Over the past 5 years over 20 organizations have benefited from the LA LOOP LOOPin Grants -- thank you LOOPERS for creating change in your communities - you made it happen!
